В статье рассматривается текущее социально-экономическое состояние Абхазии, дается его оценка и предпосылки. Делается попытка выявления потенциальных направлений развития экономики республики, а также дается прогноз на ближнесрочную перспективу.

The paper examines the current socio-economic status of Abkhazia, given his assessment and prerequisites. An attempt is made to identify potential directions of development of economy of the Republic, and also gives an outlook in the near-term.
